After school enrichment programs
August 29 through November 11 excluding conference week
We are excited to continue to offer the most comprehensive after school programs (in the district!) for our lower and upper elementary aged children. All after school classes will be held outside with either appropriate masking or social distancing (depending on the class and activities of the day).
Click on each program below to learn more. All registrations are managed through the vendors website. Minimums apply - if not enough kids register for a given program, it will be canceled.
A-to-Z Cooking Class
Join us in our kitchen or garden for hands-on classes where you’ll learn knife skills, how to select produce, how to build flavors and customize recipes. We eat what we cook! You will join your fellow chefs in a delicious meal. In kids’ classes, students also learn how to do the dishes.

Cheer and gymnastics

Gymnastics greatly benefits physical strength, power, balance as well as agility and grace. It also benefits the mind by creating confidence, perseverance, poise, attention to detail and concentration. This class will cover the fundamental parts of cheerleading including jumps, stunts, tumbling, and routines.
Each class will include a warm-up, skill building, practice, and some games for fun. This class will be held on campus.

by Camps with Coaches
Camps with Coaches offers sessions that build sports skills and experiences to empower your child to get out of their comfort zone, be healthy and learn something new. All abilities welcome!
Parkour, tumbling, ball handling, agility, stretching, and body weight exercise. Maintaining and growing health, fitness, strength and team leadership skills for young athletes!
Class dates: August 30 - November 15
*Kinders are welcome to attend but please note that there is NO childcare provided from 1:30-2:30. The parent or guardian will need to bring the child back to school.
Hope School Theater
InterAct plays an inspirational role for children, using musical theater training in acting, singing and dance/movement to enhance their performing skills and develop the confidence, communication and social skills which are essential in today’s world. Our teaching team encourages creativity for all in a safe, team-oriented and uplifting environment where they have fun and make new friends.
This program is designed to help integrate all Hope District schools though the medium of theatre with a series of fun, yet challenging sessions followed by a performance of ‘Looking for Elvis’.

Adventures in STEM with LEGO® Materials!
Let your imagination run wild with tens of thousands of LEGO® parts! Build engineer-designed projects and use special pieces to create your own unique designs!
Projects are rotated seasonally to ensure that both new and returning students can explore the endless creative possibilities of the LEGO® building system.

Boost your child's creativity, concentration, critical thinking skills and complex decision making. Academic Chess is devoted to promoting the merits of chess among children by using stories, dances, and catchy songs to make the game of chess exciting and easy to understand.

Sports Conditioning with Santa Barbara Gym Club
SB GYM CLUB is offering an afterschool program to work on sport conditioning with students in 4th-6th grade. The class is a fun intersection of
coordination, strength building, self-care, and positivity.
